The All New Rolls-Royce Cullinan

Rolls-Royce have just unveiled the Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV and to say it's luxurious, would be an understatement. The Cullinan was named after the world's largest diamond to have ever been found and it doesn't take a genius to see why. Have a look at some of the top features here.

Drive

Rolls-Royce want to make it clear that the Cullinan has the capabilities of the Range Rover and whatever they can do the Cullinan can do better. To demonstrate this, Rolls-Royce partnered with National Geographic and conquered 12000 miles of the world's toughest terrain. This 4x4 is really a world conqueror and can comfortably get you through any situation. The 4x4 capabilities along with four wheel steering really adds to the SUV's agility. Rolls Royce have really prioritised passenger comfort. They have completely separated the back passengers with the boot to reduce road noise and prevent the passengers being disturbed when the boot opens. The self levelling air suspension uses information from acceleration, steering inputs and cameras to make millions of calculations a second to adjust the shock absorbers to make the drive as comfortable as possible.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan boasts a massive 6.75 litre engine with 563 bhp and a top speed of 155 MPH showing that this SUV has some serious power. 0-60 hasn't been released yet but we can expect it to be impressive. There are plenty of safety features that have been installed in the Rolls Royce Cullinan. For example, collision warning, cross traffic alert, pedestrian and night time wildlife warning and lane change warning which demonstrates how Rolls Royce have designed this SUV with the drivers and passengers in mind.

Interior

The interior of the Cullinan is quite simply stunning. In the front you get a nice designed touch screen infotainment system loaded with the latest maps and applications with all information being shown through a digital screen. It also comes with a Wi-Fi hotspot and multiple USB plugs so everyone can be kept entertained on the long journeys. The driver can also use the 'Everywhere' button which allows them to change the powertrain and suspension elements to accommodate any climate and terrain.

In the rear, there are two options for the owner to choose from. Firstly, they can opt for lounge seating which accommodates three passenger just like in a normal car. The second option is individual seating which is two seats separated by a centre console with Rolls-Royce whisky glasses and decanter, champagne flutes and fridge. The rear passengers are higher up in the back allowing them to enjoy the panoramic roof and large side windows. In addition, the rear seats can fold down to increase the boot capacity and offer you more space. With the seats up, the Cullinan boasts a 560 litres.

Exterior

Simply put, the Rolls Royce Cullinan is a unit. Measuring almost 5.3 meters long, 2.2 meters wide, 1.8 meters tall and weighing 2660kg, you'll certainly stand out on the road. Night time visibility is made easy with laser headlights which can reach up to 600 meters. The Cullinan lowers itself by 40mm in order to increase the accessibility and once inside it rises at a touch of a button along with there being a door closing button meaning you don't really have to do anything. The aluminium spaceframe creates a lightweight and durable design and with 22 inch alloy wheels and large metal trim plates on each side, it really looks the part.

An interesting feature of the Cullinan is the Viewing Suit. The Viewing Suite was added in order help create memories and to live in the moment for longer. At the touch of a button two rear facing leather seats come out allowing you to comfortably sit and enjoy the moment. The leather seats are accompanied by a cocktail table so you can really experience the luxury.
